Step 1

Create your account

Head to the registration page and fill in your personal details alongside your store information. This creates both your login and your store profile in one go.

  • Full name — your real name as the account holder, used in reports and admin records.
  • Email address — used to log in. Must be unique per account.
  • Password — minimum 8 characters. You will confirm it once before submitting.
  • Store name — the name shown to customers on the kiosk screen (e.g. "Maria's Sari-Sari").
  • GCash number — the phone number linked to your merchant GCash wallet (e.g. 0917 xxx xxxx).
  • QR code image path — optional at registration. You can leave the default and upload the real QR from your dashboard later.
First account becomes superadmin If you are registering the very first account on a fresh installation, the system automatically grants you the superadmin role. All subsequent accounts are created as client accounts.
After a successful registration you will be redirected to the login page with a confirmation message. Sign in with your email and password to continue.

Step 2

Pay your subscription

New client accounts start with a pending subscription status. Before you can display a live kiosk, a superadmin must approve your account. Trigger approval by sending your subscription payment to the operator.

  • Contact your GCash Kiosk operator and send the subscription fee via GCash or another agreed method.
  • Share your proof of payment (screenshot) with the operator via chat or the contact method they provide.
  • The superadmin will update your account status to Active from the admin panel. You will be able to proceed as soon as this is done.
Approval is required before the kiosk goes live Your kiosk display page will show a "not yet active" message until the superadmin approves your subscription. This usually takes under 24 hours after payment confirmation.

Step 3

Configure your store

From your dashboard, open Store Settings to personalise what customers see on the kiosk. Every field here feeds directly into the live kiosk display — changes take effect immediately after saving.

FieldWhat it controlsRequired?
Store name Displayed as the heading on the kiosk screen and in your dashboard header. Required
GCash number Shown below the QR code so customers can type in the number manually. Required
Merchant QR image The GCash QR code customers scan to send money. Upload the PNG/JPG from your GCash merchant app. Required
Ad image 1 First image in the rotating advertisement slideshow shown on the kiosk while idle. Optional
Ad image 2 Second advertisement slide. Accepts JPEG, PNG, or WebP. Optional
Ad image 3 Third advertisement slide. Optional
Fallback ad Shown when no other ads are loaded or during any loading error. Keep as default if unsure. Optional
How to get your GCash merchant QR Open the GCash app → tap Show QR or Receive Money → save the QR image to your phone → upload it to the server and paste the file path in the QR field. A typical path looks like assets/kiosk/merchant-qr.png.
Use your correct GCash merchant QR — not your personal one The merchant QR is a separate code issued by GCash for businesses. Using your personal receive-money QR may cause payment issues and will not appear in your merchant transaction history.

Step 4

Set your transaction fees

Go to Fee Settings in your dashboard to configure how much you charge customers for cash in and cash out transactions. Fees are calculated automatically during each transaction.

  • Fixed fee — a flat peso amount added to every transaction regardless of size (e.g. ₱10 per cash-in).
  • Percentage fee — a percentage of the transaction amount (e.g. 1% of ₱500 = ₱5 fee).
  • Bracket-based fees — different fee rates per amount range. Common for remittance-style pricing.

Example bracket setup for cash-in fees:

Amount range Fee charged Fee type
₱1 – ₱500 ₱10.00 Fixed
₱501 – ₱2,000 ₱15.00 Fixed
₱2,001 – ₱5,000 1.0% Percentage
₱5,001 and above 0.8% Percentage
You can set separate fee rules for Cash In and Cash Out. If you leave fees at zero, no service charge will be added to transactions. You can update fee rules at any time — they apply to new transactions immediately.

Step 5

Launch the kiosk display

Once your account is active and your store is configured, open the kiosk URL on any browser-equipped device — a tablet, a spare Android phone, or a monitor connected to a mini PC — and position it facing your customers.

  • Open your kiosk URL in a browser: yoursite.com/kiosk.php?store=YOUR_ID
  • Press F11 (or your browser's full-screen shortcut) to enter full-screen mode for a clean customer view.
  • Position the screen so the QR code is clearly visible and at a comfortable scanning height for customers.
  • Make sure the device has a stable internet connection. The kiosk pulls your QR and ads from the server in real time.
  • Your kiosk is now live. Customers can scan the QR to send GCash, and you manage incoming requests from your dashboard.
